Admission of applicants who seek a postgraduate education of the Ist and IInd stages is carried out in accordance with the paragraphs 5 and 8of the article of the Code of the Republic of Belarus about education, Chapter 4 of The Regulation about training of scientific staff of highest category in the Republic of Belarus, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of the 1st of December 2011 № 561 «About some questions of training and attestation of scientific staff of highest qualification», Decree of the Ministry of the Republic of Belarus of the 12th June, 2012 № 62 «About a list of documents, submitted by applicants for admission to PhD course, Doctoral candidacy course».
- Deadlines for application to doctoral candidacy course: from 01.08.2020 to 30.09.2020.
- Admission exams for doctoral candidacy course – October 2020.
- Doctoral candidacy course starts from the 1st of November, 2020.
- Foreign citizens can do their doctorate course intramurally.
- The term of doing a candidacy course intramurally is 3 years.
Citizens of the Republic of Belarus, persons without citizenship and foreign citizens, who have foreign diplomas of higher education and academic degrees, before submission of documents for doing candidacy or PhD course should have their diplomas of higher education and academic degrees recognized in accordance with the Belarusian law.
For the admission to PhD course or Doctoral candidacy course it is obligatory for foreign citizens to have the following documents: passport or a substitute document, document which confirms the right of staying at the Republic of Belarus, contract of compulsory health insurance; for the admission to PhD course or Doctoral candidacy course being provided in Russian (Belarusian) it is obligatory to speak Russian (Belarusian) on the level being enough for doing a postgraduate program.
During the admission to Doctoral candidacy an applicant must personally present his identification document and an original document of Candidate of Sciences Diploma (for foreign citizens - Doctor of Philosophy Diploma (Ph.D)
