State Educational Establishment «Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education» provides training for academic staff with highest qualification on different specialties and scientific branches in accordance with a list of specialties for scientific staff of the Republic of Belarus.
PhD course is the Ist stage of postgraduate education, which aims at the training of specialists with the planning skills and self-directed research, deep theoretical knowledge, which help to write a qualifying scientific work (thesis) for a Candidate’s degree.
Foreign citizens can do their PhD course course intramurally. The duration of the training is less than 3 years.
Foreign citizens are admitted to the PhD course on a paid basis without passing an exam on a special discipline.
Abilities of an applicant to scientific and research work, level of the working language enough for the PhD training course, are evaluated by the results of the interview.
